When the wounded child realizes his innocence,
he becomes the Christ Child and that is the moment when love makes its home in our hearts
and peace comes to earth.

Dear Friends,

I want to wish you a wonderful winter solstice and holiday season.

With a new moon this year on Christmas eve, both the solar and lunar cycles are in alignment.
This is a time when we can all align with a new vision of peace and fulfillment for ourselves and our world.   It is also a time when we can forgive the wounds and perceived injustices of the past and come back into our hearts. When we align with our Core Self, love is all there is. 

All of us have fear and shame coming up from time to time. Fear gets projected as anger against the behavior of others who trigger us.   Shame gets projected as judgment of others who trigger us. But our fear and shame are conditions inside of us.  They have nothing to do with others.  We cannot heal our relationships by pointing the finger at others and trying to make them responsible for our pain. They are not responsible.

Our pain is our responsibility.  If we accept this responsibility, we can heal the shame within
our consciousness and begin to move through our pain.  We can forgive ourselves for the ways in which we have attacked others and bring love to the child within who feels unworthy.
This is not an easy process for any of us. But it is a necessary one.

Soon it will be Christmas. If we want to welcome the Christ energy into our hearts and minds,
we must find that place within where we know that we are innocent and our brother and sister is innocent too.   All pain and trespass result from a consciousness that does not feel loved. Unfortunately, many of us look for love from others, but we do not bring love to ourselves.

As I have said many times, “We are the bringers of love.”  Without our love the world is a dark and dreary place. Jesus knew this well.  That is why he showed us how to overcome our fear and our judgment and bring love and acceptance to ourselves and others.

As we enter the holidays this year, let us bring love to the one who needs it: the wounded one within us who does not feel good enough, the one who condemns others in futile attempt to feel better about himself.  Judging and attacking others, no matter how subtly, only adds to our pain and deepens our sense of unworthiness.

Jesus told each of us “love others as you love yourself,” but if you do not know how to love yourself, how can you love others? It is not possible.  You can love others only as much as you are able to love yourself. Not more or less.  So let us be willing to learn how to bring love to our own hearts, because it is not something we know how to do very well. And until we learn to bring love to ourselves, we have nothing of value to offer anyone else.

Christmas is time for communion with the Christ within.  And Christ knows he is innocent and so is his brother and sister.  So will you take the time to know it too? Will you bring love to yourself and take your brother off the cross.  If you will do this, you to will walk free.  The shadows will be lifted and the eternal light will be seen in the eyes of everyone you meet.

the moment when love makes its home in our hearts and peace comes to earth.

May this time of Christ’s birth bring us all into our hearts and keep us there.
